2 nm south of Porepunkah township located in the Buckland Valley on the east side of Mount Buffalo National Park
CTAF 123.0 MHz, Melbourne Centre 125.2 MHz.

 GRASS STRIP 840 m long Runway direction 18 / 36
Longitudinal gradient 1.25% DOWN to the NORTH

 EFFECTIVE OPERATIONAL LENGTH
With some trees at the south end, the 5% gradient reduces the effective operational length to approx 720 m for takeoffs on 18 and landings on 36

 CAUTION
Operating at this airstrip is entirely at the pilots risk
High ground to the west and east of airfield
A road crosses the airfield near the northern end

 ACTIVITIES Light GA, trikes (microlights), hang gliders, paragliders, ultralights and R/C model aircraft (at north end). Seasonal: sailplanes with aerotow.

 CONSIDERATIONS
Landing area is not suitable for night operations and no lighting is available.
Landing donation - $5 per aircraft per day - red box in front of toilets.

 NOISE SENSITIVE AREAS
All around the airfield and normal circuit height must be adhered to. Housing 1 nm to the SW and 1 nm to the NE of the airfield are particularly sensitive.
